St. Columba’s Church

St Columba’s Church has been described variously as ‘decorated Victorian’ or ‘Gothic Revival’.

It includes some quirky features such as a Celtic cross and Round Tower (chimney Flue) in the roof.

There is also a James Leech reredos containing twenty-four biblical figures painted by Catherine Amelia O’Brien as well as a small pyramidal mausoleum to the Blood family.
